24 challenge
Five 7th grade students, Emma Ritchey, Emily Rightenour, Nevaeh Walter, Taylor Conrad and Taylor Daugherty, attended the 24 Challenge Math Tournament at Mount Aloysius College on Thursday, May 18, 2018.  Three of the 7th graders received a bronze medal for the general semi-final round at the tournament: Emma Ritchey, Emily Rightenour, and Nevaeh Walter.






Jocelyn Schultz

CKHS sophomore Jocelyn Shultz was recognized at the May school board meeting for successfully completing the Leadership Blair County Youth (LBC Youth) program, sponsored by the Blair County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s website states, “It is the mission of Leadership Blair County Youth to develop the leadership potential that exists in tenth grade students from all of the high schools in Blair County, as well as educate these students about Blair County’s heritage, culture, and workforce opportunities.” Jocelyn applied for, and was accepted to the 15th class of LBC Youth.  She graduated on Wednesday, May 9th.  Congratulations, Jocelyn!
